Are the GST invoices generated here legally compliant in India?

Our GST invoice templates include all 16 mandatory fields required under Rule 46 of the CGST Rules, supplier and buyer GSTIN, invoice number, date, place of supply, HSN/SAC codes, taxable value, CGST/SGST/IGST breakdown and total. You are responsible for entering accurate data; we provide the format. For e-invoicing (mandatory if turnover exceeds ₹5 crore), use a dedicated GSP/IRP portal.

Can I use a rent receipt from this site to claim HRA?

Yes. Our rent receipt format includes landlord name and PAN, tenant details, monthly rent, period covered, payment mode and a slot for a ₹1 revenue stamp (mandatory if monthly rent exceeds ₹5,000 under the Indian Stamp Act). If your annual rent exceeds ₹1,00,000, your landlord's PAN must be declared. Submit signed receipts to your employer before the financial year deadline.

Signup is required only to download. Browsing, picking a template and live preview work without an account. We ask for an email at download time so you can come back to your bills later, no credit card needed for the 10 free credits.

Will my bill have a watermark?

Accepted Answer

No. Paid downloads (including the 10 free credits) produce clean PDFs with no BillGenerator branding stamped on them. Watermarks only appear on the in-browser preview before you spend a credit.
