Terms of Service

By using BillGenerator ("the service") you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. What we provide

BillGenerator is a tool for creating Indian bill and invoice formats including GST invoices, rent receipts, fuel bills and related documents. The tool generates a PDF from the data you enter; the data and the PDF belong to you.

2. Your account

You are responsible for all activity on your account. Keep your login credentials secure. Notify us immediately at support@billgenerator.ai if you suspect unauthorised use.

You must be 18 or older to create an account. You may use the service anonymously without an account, subject to feature limits.

3. Credits and payments

• Credits are prepaid units. Each PDF export consumes 1 credit.
• Credits do not expire while your account is active.
• Payments are processed by Dodo Payments. Prices are in INR (₹) and include applicable GST.

4. Acceptable use

You must not use the service to:

• Create documents you intend to pass off as issued by a party other than yourself. You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of every bill you generate.
• Evade tax, defraud another person, or commit any crime.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the service.
• Impersonate another person or business.
• Upload malware or attempt to access other users' data.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

5. Your content

You retain full ownership of the data you enter and the PDFs you generate. We do not claim any rights over your bills. We need a limited license to display your data back to you and to generate your PDF output.

6. No tax or legal advice

BillGenerator produces document formats. We are not a tax advisor, Chartered Accountant, or law firm. The templates follow common Indian invoicing practice but you must verify compliance with GST, income tax, and other applicable law for your specific situation. Consult a qualified professional for advice.

7. Service availability

We aim for high uptime but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change, pause, or retire features with notice.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BillGenerator is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in India.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified by email to registered users or via a banner on the site. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
